I am a researcher at the MEDyC unit of the Reims Champagne-Ardenne University in the team of Manuel Dauchez. My research focuses on the study of the interaction between proteins, peptides or bio-molecules with membranes using molecular modeling techniques, notably molecular dynamics with atomistic and coarse grained representations, in order to explain their structure/activity relationships.
I got my PhD at the LBMI laboratory of the Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech faculty of the Liège university under the supervision of Laurence Lins in 2008. My thesis mixed experimental biophysical techniques (liposomes formation with CD, IR and fluorescence spectroscopy) with bioinformatic (sequence analysis like hydrophobicity profiles and motif search) and modelling methods (peptide 3D modelling and implicit membrane interactions with monte carlo).
With a biophysical background, I am particularly interested to associate molecular modelling, notably molecular dynamics, to complementary biophysical tools and my work has been used in successful national and international collaborations.
